Our Story
Gabby and Kiono first met at the Schulich School of Business during orientation. It wasn’t long after they began studying together; eventually the studying gave way to evenings at Sushi Bong and at their favourite Korean fried chicken restaurant. Kiono was drawn to Gabby’s low key sense of humor, and quick wit – while Gabby could not resist Kiono’s suspenders and chin strap beard.
Since university, the two have been nearly inseparable. Together, they’ve travelled across the world, have seen the Taj Mahal, strolled on the Athabasca Glaciers and made a wrong turn into Garfield Park (sac a voyage’s #1 ranked neighbourhood to avoid in the Chicage area).
Now 7+ years, a global pandemic, and several hiccups later (most recently with Kiono nearly burning down Gabby’s condo when he tried to cook chicken parmigiana for the first time), the two will tie the knot. They can’t wait to ring in the next chapter of their story with you!
